In 2004, both Patras Vom Rappenhof & his full brother Prinz Habicht *Ps* were presented at the American Trakhener Inspection. Both stallions were approved by the panel of judges. One of the judges commented that in the 260 year history of the ATA inspections, never have they passed two full brothers in the same inspection! Only about two out of every hundred colts born in the USA are approved each year by the ATA
Patras VR completed the ATA performance criteria in 2006 by completing an event at the Pre-Training Level. Patras VR has an awesome jump. He is extremely brave, quiet and confident over fences. He absolutley loved jumping over all of the cross-country obstacles!
He competed at the Grandview Horse Trials in August 2006 ridden by Jessica Ferguson. (Phoenix) Patras and Jessica were 1st after the dressage, second after the stadium and even after only one schooling through water - the pair completed the cross-country phase. He was an absolute star!

Patras VR is a full brother to three other ATA approved stallions. His ATA elite sire 'Carino E' was Canadian Sport Horse of the year in 2000 and his ATA elite dam, 'Palma Nigra E' was awarded the Gerda Friedrichs award in 2000 - given for outstanding success of an ATA studbook registered Trakehner broodmare and her foals. Patras VR comes from the same lineage as Olympic dressage medal winners, 'Peron' and 'Partout'
